Does anyone know of paint problems with 2008 RX-8? I have the 40th anniversary edition in Metropolitan grey. Noticed yesterday when washing the area behind the left front tire, behind the side vents and driver door, looks like it is sweating behind the paint. Try to get pic when it stops raining. Live north of Tampa. Thanks

what do u mean by "sweating?" do u mean dried paint run streaks or ?

 

as long as its not on the outside they dont care about whats hidden.

 

By saying it looks like sweating....... hhmm like there was condensation that dried as a residue, except it is not coming off. Only involves the lower half of car side involved. So I have grey streaks and an off color. Will post the pic.

Hmm. Was it repainted or factory coat. looks like if it was repainted and it had condensation on it or maybe something acidic got on it and discolored it.. Not to sure so dont take my word for it.

 

have you tried to wash it then use some polish?
could be just some stain.
