Opinions on painted rear shrouds

So I got rear shrouds off of eBay, they are similar to the appearance package but aren't expensive and I have heard good reviews about them. I wasn't sure how I was going to paint them to match the black plastic parts on the back of our cars.
I don't have them on right now but I have them lined up without the screws in them.
What do you guys think about leaving them silver and the rest of the bumper the way it is. Refer to the picture for an idea. Again, I'm looking for opinions on whether or not to leave them like this.
One picture is of the old shrouds so you have something to compare it to

Do what makes YOU happy. People just want what's "different". When I had a C5 corvette, everyone wanted to paint the body color area around the exhaust black. So the C6 Vette came out with a black surround around the exhaust. You can guess.. All the "cool guys" started painting it body color. Jesus Christ. Lmao

Well I agree that different isn't bad but I don't want tacky. The way I feel right now is that I am keeping them the way they are

I dont like it the way it sits currently. If the entire shroud were painted to match that would be different, I think that would look good.

I agree. When I got those shrouds painted I also got oem appearance repackage skirts and lip painted. Along with a set of eyelids so I accounted for that

Personally i'd not have got them at all, look too over the top for my taste. Mind you, I have red brakes and black wheels so what do I know?

Not too bad. I hope they hold up well against the heat from the exhaust.

The first and second picture look terrible. Either paint the entire lower portion of the bumper and the shrouds or just the sides of shrouds. If you paint just the sides then paint the rear edge of the shrouds and the lower part of the bumper black.

Well for now the shrouds will stay that way until I either get money to repaint or learn to love them. Here is the front of the car with the lip and eyelids. I personally think the front looks incredible.
It won't be long until the front lip is ripped off because from the ground to the lip is about 4 inches

Sagging how and where?
If you think it is sagging check this picture maybe it's a bad angle.

It looks like the gap between his hood and front bumper is a little wider than normal.

Maybe his hood needs adjusted a tad?

Well I know for a fact my car has been in a front end collision prior to me because the bumper has been repainted. So it's possible the gap is bigger than it should be. I have no clue how you guys could tell from the picture, but I guess that's why you guys are the pros when it come to the 8
