I know it may only have existed for the movie but does anybody know if they ever produced or where to get the spoiler that was on the 8 that was in X-men2?

 

Yes, it was available. There was a complete body mod to make a car look like the X-Men car. But, I don't believe it is made anymore. I believe, since the first of the year, someone posted about removing one and putting something else on. Follow the Classifieds and the exterior mods forums closely to see if one may come on the market. Also, check nationwide on Crags List.

There is a local RX-8 that has that wing. It is horrible.

I don't know that they are that rare. They were available when the car first came out. There wasn't a lot of aftermarket parts yet to mod the car at that time (and seemingly for quite a while). So the Xmen wing found a market. I was at a Mazda dealer once and there was an RX8 waiting for service. It had one. I asked about it. It was an 04, had an automatic trans and belonged to a woman. It was a way to distinguish yourself from the rest of the crowd.

 

There's a red RX-8 near me with one, too... It's awful.
