OEM fogs on MS Kit
Hey everyone, I thought I would post this up. I finally got around to installing the OEM fog lights onto my MS kit. I was rather lengthy in my opinion, i guess thats because i didnt have the right tools when i first started. I then decided to go and buy a Dremel to help me out haha, that seemed to speed things up 10x faster. Anyways hope that you guys enjoy the pictures. Oh, I know my car is dirty, so don't flame me too much about that. :p
P.S. I used the Electric Dremel to cut and modify the OEM housings to make it fit the MS kit.

You didn't want to use the brackets? They make the lights point forward... not to the sides. (Look at the top pic.)
At least you saved about 70 bucks doing this.
Oh and I notice it's the replica kit, that's why it didn't have the grill. If it had the MS Grill in front, you wouldn't be able to put the fogs the way you did.

Yeah it is a MS replica, however the fog light do point forward. I know they may look like the point outwards, but they really don't. They are even with the headlights. Oh, and the brackets wouldn't work on this front bumper, I had to basically make my own for this.

and don't forget the portion that covers the rebar. The JDM version has a curved piece of black plastic where as the replicas leave that space open so you get to stare at the unpainted bumper rebar below.
And given the difficulty he had in installing his OEM foglights, I would assume that the back portion of the replica is different from the JDM. The JDM required trimming of the mesh grills, as well as drilling two holes in the backside of the bumper to attach the new foglight brackets.
As for the material...most replicas are urethane, which means that they are more flexible than the JDM version.
