No Rear Bumper Pics

I took off the rear bumper to have the bottom color matched and snaped some quick shots of the rear w/o the skin.

It was a real easy job. Pop out a few snaps, a few screws and POP! it comes off. I did it by myself in about a half hour. The longest part of the process is removing the tail lights. Not that it was difficult to do so, but rather time comsuming. The bumper should be back from the painter this week. The pieces that surround the tail pipes, which are separated from the bumper, I'm leaving black. We'll see how it looks when all the pieces are put back together.

Also a shot of the suspention and muffler. That thing is huge! You can see the end of the sway bar and how it attaches to the latteral link. It's surprizingly wimpy compared to how the car handles.

That should look pretty good when it's all said and done. Make sure you post some pics when it is finished.

if you install the exhaust finishers according to the instructions you have to take the car apart this far.

Yep, the tail lights need to come off so you can get to some of the hidden snaps for the bumper.

Depends on "who's instructions" as the mazdatrix website has good instructions on the exhaust finisher proceedure w/pics.
So don't jump on his as he did "read" your msg.

What tyre were those, the tread design looks pretty similar to the TS-1 and Falken something.
