seems like they might look weird from different angles
like the front view being able to see the bulb sort of jutting out
i dont know im not sure id have to see them on a wb first from a few angles and see someone with a paintmatched back
or with a chromed back

they arrived. They don't look right on my car. switched back to jdm clear.
on wwp or wb, they would probably look the best.
if anyone wants to try them, 45 dollars gets them.
i'm not that impressed with the quality. but they look better than the ambers, i think.
sorry no pics. i took them off shortly after i put them on. and my car is too dirty to show its face. stupid rain.

I have to agree with myriadshalaks.
I also bought 2 sets, both assembled and unassembled. The assembled pair glue line is full of bubbles and not the best display of craftsmanship; though if it's watertight then I suppose it's doing it's job, appearance aside.
I plan on painting the interior section of my unassembled pair SS and glue them together myself.
But my overall impression is that the quality is just not on the same level as the Mazda of Japan clears that I'm currently running, with V-LED amber cluster of 5. It's an understated illumination that doesn't blind you and doesn't pull your eye away from the car details themselves.
So, we'll see if the painted version makes me change my mind. If not, I will probably have 2 sets of these for sale at a discount.
No bad feelings toward RX-8 Strakes.com. I've been a customer before and will be again. Injection-molded parts like this involve very expensive tooling and I applaud them for making the effort. I'd say they're 90% there with this one.
