actually the easiest way to tell is look for a veilside stamped logo on teh inside of the kit wiht a serial #. Veilside kits have always been white, no other color.

that dude in parts for sale forum is still the same **** for 1600 which is the actual price Veilside charge, and he even use TR1GGER's picture , i already contacted him and he confirmed that it's a REPLICA, i was like WTF!!!!????????? this is what he reply to me :

Yeah that kit is a fake, the veilside kits come in white, not teal green, plus Veilside is not stamped on his skirts.

 

So how many companies have made replicas of this kit. And what are the differences?

 

All TRUE Veilside FIBERGLASS kits come in white, and every piece has Veilside stamped on it and has a Veilside logo on the inside with a serial number to be used with the waranty, trust me I had to use, the dealership will serviceing the car backed it into something and destroyed my rear bumper, but I finally got my new one on and painted so I'm happy.

Ouch, that's a fake kit. I just confirmed it with the real Veilside, with a link to the thread, and they said that is indeed a fake.

The new rear is the same one I had before the Veilside D1-GT rear, and I hope you were refering the the other guy because my kit is real straight from Veilside USA.

 

I'm just glad that Mikeb and BIU read the other thread to get what I was saying :P That just makes it all worthwhile.

Hey I know this thread is old but i am going to install the real veilside in September at last...
I was going to buy a replica one but when i saw how much job was it needed for perfect fiting,i was wow sh@t wtf....And the kit guys had all the veilside logos cause it was straight from the original...

Here is my question...Does the original veilside have any rpoblems in fiitng??Is it needed any serious job to be made like clearing the corners etc or the only thing left to install it is having it painted???Where there any gaps os anything with the original??
Also i heard it is very easy to brake the original parts...not strong..Is this true??
