MS Style kit $599, if you dare. :)

Just an FYI-

www.autoaccessorystore.com has their MS style fiberglass kits available for $599 retail. $475 wholesale. Shipping 150 to business, 190 to residential.

If you're a daring soul unafraid of body work & possible fitment issues (quality may be good, just an assumption due to the price) might be a good option.

Seen quite a few threads interested in a cheaper alternative, thought I'd let ya know.

Who Bought Bodykit From Autoaccesory Store

six hundred dollars for a complete kit, dude, I heard someone bought from that site. I wonder how is that kit holding up.

Can the person that bought that kit, tell us about it?

I think they are genuine salesman as they do post their own picture rather than borrowed ones... no one can garantee quality on copies though.

For that price it's almost worth the risk I would say (considering the price of the 'real' thing.)

Looks like a J-SPEC clone ... can see the exposed bumper foam ... also, judging by the way the the front bumper meets the headlights and fender, looks to me like $599 is about right.

Are we looking at the same picture? It looks fine to me? How does it look like $599 is right? (Good observation on the J-Spec clone, though).

Well put, BUT, is buying the Rotary Extreme kit "faking the funk" too? Or is it just this one, since with the low price there's an assumption that it's low quality?

I really don't give a **** about this company or kit, but I just think it is insightful to find out why certain comments are made, and it wouldn't be good to sway someone from a product based upon assumptions alone. If the Rotary Extreme kit is classified as "faking the funk" too, (I think I just like typing that phrase :D ) no harm no foul. I think with this new of a market, (RX8 part market, that is) price is more of a function of economies of scale, rather than quality. The low quality assumption based upon price may be jumping the gun a bit....

Those were kinda my thoughts. Even if you had to pay a body shop $800 to get it looking OK, that's still about the price of the original front bumper alone. <shrug> It'd be nice to hear about the quality from someone besides the person with the screen name AAS. Too weird.

well i was only interested in the sideskirts and i emailed them and they did reply me the very next day..... seems like theyre a legit company........

they said the sideskirts only cost 180 + 100 shipping.....

That price is too good to be true?

I imagine that it would be quite flimsy and needs some modding to fit.........

but it still is really really cheap to at least take a stab and try?

Anybody want to try so that i can make my decision? lol

180 plus shipping? Hell...it's cheaper than an illuminated shift ****!......

I'm going to talk to a few local fibreglass / body guys before I consider this...but even with some work it might be worth it.

Even with alot of work to make it thicker and alot of modding to make it fit i imagine it would still be cheaper than the Rotary Extreme MS styles.......

this price is really tempting me........

why dont you go ahead and be my lab mouse ? :D
