Flip.. you got a really bad version of the MS copied kit... I've seen replicas and it wasn't as badly shaped as that. Your kit would need some work to smooth out all the edges, and I noticed you are trying to sell your's for 700...
The ones I've seen locally are the same ones on Egay for $550-599. Is it possible you can get a refund for your's?

Landon, where did your kit ship from? It should state it on the shipping invoice that came w/ your kit... i'm really curious to see how your kit looks.. please post pics.. ( If need be, I can use it as a reference when I call them regarding the variances.. THANKS)

Wow. That looks like ****, Flip. I'm sorry.....It really sucks to get a product that doesn't meet quality expectations. That looks like a practice kit for their new mold, mine must have been molded after they had gotten better at it. (Assuming it came from the same place).
Yeah, mine looks NOTHING like that one. I'll post some pics tomorrow, hopefully. I'm really runnin' short on time today, kinda got a crammed schedule, but I WILL keep you posted. I THOUGHT mine shipped from NY, but I really didn't ever verify that. I'll check the invoice, etc. and let you know for sure.
Omicron- I'll try to put together a DIY, too, I'll be installing it for the test fit this Tuesday, I'll make sure I snap some pics.

hmmmmmm, one of the local auto parts and accesorries shop has a replica of the MS kit as well.... they're selling for $1600 Australian dollars which is roughly $1100 US dollars....
they claim the following:
Includes Front Bumper, Rear Lower Half Bumper, Side Skirts, 2-Piece Rear Spoiler
Exceptional Quality and Fit
i think they might be selling the exact same thing u guys talking bout.... so it'd be cheaper for me to import :/ i'm going there tomorrow to have a look.
(but then again.... i paid almost $64000 (~ $44k US) for my car.... and u guys paid around $30k US i think.... guess we'd have to pay more for our accesories too)

ok, i went to the store and had a look.... and well, they looked like QUALITY parts. nice and smooth, and quite thick(but not too thick). owner said that theres very little difference between that and the real MazdaSpeed kit.
.... but i'm just unsure if what i buy will look exactly like what they have in the show room. as we all know, no warranty are given to kits :/

Well, if its fiberglass like every other replica I've seen, then that's a pretty significant difference right there.

That'd be awesome if someone could manage a poly-urethane MS replica. Talk about a gold mine......=)

wow .. . i'm pretty pissed. .... i dun think it was AAS's fault but my body kit came all broken up in peices and cracked. There was holes all over the box too. I sent it back ... airborne / DHL sucks ... looks like they just tossed **** onto my body kit and everything in the box got smushed .... well I'mma call AAS tomorrow , hopefully we'll work things out

Dang that sux!!! Isn't AAS a member of this forum? I think they should speak up and address some of these issues. They should stand behind a product that they offer! I think it's really bad business practice to not be consistent and they should give quality service and products. It only takes one bad seed to ruin the whole crop -- i'm sure some members of this forum also belong to other clubs where they can give a "heads up" on their experience with them, positively or NEGATIVELY.

well hopefully they'll send me another body kit soon and I can update the quality on that one. CAuse the smashed up body kit , i couldn't tell the quality of it ... hopefully the next one won't get smashed up. I don't think it was AAS's fault tho that it got smashed up , shipper's fault i think.
