MS Front Bumper questions

I'm now in the market to get one because of the accident I was in. The insurance estimate listed the following things and I wanted to see which of these I'll actually have to order seperatly from the MS Front Bumper.

Bumper Clips - EA01-50-037
TR Bumper Cover Retainer - F151-50-0K0C
Bumper Impact Cushion - FE01-50-111A
Bumper Reinforcement Bar - FE01-50-070E
Grille - FE01-50-1T0B

I'm pretty sure the Grille is completely different so must come with the bumper.

Thanks,
Blacknoir

you'll need the clips, the cushion, the bar, and the retainer

dang. Oh well. Any recommendations on where to get them? I was going to get my bumper from mazdaparts.com and have already asked them if they have those just in case.

try finishline, but if you're already getting the bumper from mazdaparts they will probably save you on shipping to get everything from them

Question #2

Is there anything I might want to do to the new bumper before I put it on? I've thought about replacing the grille on my current with a mesh but I'm not sure what the MS bumper has.

I have Zaino on my entire car.. can I put that on the new bumper right away? Won't screw up the paint or anything will it?

It requires fog light brackets? Got a link?

Much easier to just take the bumper off. Lots of test fitting and fine tuning to install fogs. Bumper r&r is easy.
Clean your air filter while you got the bumper off.

if you don't want to mess anything up, put it on with the bumper off the car.

i cant take the bumper off without spider webbing the paint. and possibly cracking the bumper i had the body shod do a little custom work on it since it didnt fit right. (Fake MS).. so until i get enough money to buy the real bumper i cant take this one off.

hey i also got in an accident and screwed up my frond bumper...everything in front of the passenger side wheel got torn apart. The front spoiler is missing the last 6 inches and i'm looking to buy the Mspeed bumper
http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...nt_Bumper.html
but i don't know what i need to make it work. Do aftermarket bumpers replace the front spoiler altogether? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The MS bumper will replace everything. no front spoiler to worry about.. If you have the money get the real MS bumper. much easier to fit and everything. you will be able to do it your self if you would like.. here is a link for it..

I just had an authentic MS front put on my car (someone backed into the front and cracked the OEM). The body shop charged me just under $1200 for it (primered), since I was having some additional work done as well (blended the hood and fenders to get rid of rock chips). Still cost me $1500 after all was done, but that includes having them install the fog light brackets, which caused them to keep the car for an extra day.

Like others have said, go with the real MS if you can afford it... it looks so much better. And the grill that comes with it looks really good as well.

Okay thanks...if i had the money I would definitely get that, it looks real clean. Unfortunately I'm a college student with a part-time job and money's pretty tight. I've decided on this one though
http://www.amazon.com/2004-2008-Mazd...8365571&sr=1-1
because the other one was made of fiberglass and I've heard plenty of horror stories about fiberglass bumpers. It's about 200 bucks more for the urethane one and I can get it painted for about 200. Should I put it on before or after being painted?

Paint it when it is already on the car. If you do it the other way. the paint will most likely to break aka spider web and fitting it to the car. that is what I had to do with mine.. and Yes i know money is tight when your in college. that's why i have a knock off one for now.
