The fitment from extreme dimension is ridiculously horrible.

Also, everything from MazdaSpeed retains its full factory warranty and is a 100% perfect fitment.

And why not just make a carbon fiber mazdaspeed bodykit? everyone knows it's the best material and that's why they use it in EVERY professional racing car and boeing is starting to make their planes entirely out of carbon fiber.
Metton won't sag over time like urethane will.
The carbon fiber that pro's use is dry carbon. It is fused under heat & vacuum. It is an expensive process. The carbon fiber parts you can buy is wet carbon. It is made of carbon fiber weave material and epoxy resin. Wet carbon materials weight slightly less than fiberglass and are a little bit stronger. Dry carbon is a lot lighter and a lot stronger.

Oh and the MazdaSpeed part comes pre-finished. No body shop work is necessary. You can install it on your car in about 30 minutes.

Kinda a dumb question, you get what you pay for. Its fitment is perfect and you don't have to paint it, to me it was worth the extra money to be able to install it myself

they might look similar but ther is a huge difference in quality, you might be able to save some money buying the ED but you'll end up coughing up some more cash after you take it to a body shop to get it painted and fitted. Yes, you can do it yourself but the question is, do you have the tools, equipment and capability to do it right?

There are cf kits out there, but not from MS (ex. carbon creations, VIS etc.)
Most cf products that you see are pretty much just frp w/ cf overlay. Nowhere near to what they use in pro racing, air and spacecrafts. They use multiple layers of cf for their parts that are cured inside a huge autoclave.
If you think the MS kit is expensive right now? imagine if it was made out of CF? The MS kit is light enough as it is, it's not practical to use an expensive material unless there is going to be a huge weight difference.

How much do you think an up-armored HMMMWV costs? and it can still be easily crushed by any tank. The RX8 is not a combat vehicle, so don't expect any tactical advantages from it's upgrades. Best doesn't necessarily mean indestructible...
Even an armor kit for a BMW, Mercedes, GMC or Toyata costs twice as much than the vehicle itself and still can't offer the protection that you're looking for.

You for got rock chip proof & curb proof. Which it most certainly is not. However, it does fit perfect.

I visited this thread to find out how mazdaspeed cures erectile dysfunction.

I'm sorely disappointed. But I managed to find this vid on youtube that illustrates how awesome this thread is.

So if you order the Mazdaspeed Front ............... As long as it's painted you can just take the old front bumper off and put the MS front on?? I.e. NO body shop required????

God dont get ED.. Just trust me.. Pay the money for the Mazdaspeed.. There is a reason you pay that much & NO, you wont save by getting ED.. Again trust me..

Did I mention Im going to the body shop for a second time, cause my ED just plain sucked *** and needs MORE work. Infact, It might be just getting the Real R-Magic.. Learned my lesson, so did my check book.

I love the look and the functionality of body kit but no one's ever mentioned it.

Someone should link this thread to the main body kit thread. I bet a lot of noobs would be wondering the same thing
this sort of thing has been mentioned 100s of times. you just didn't look for a thread with the same question.

This is why Extreme Dimensions is "Extreme Dimensions": https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/new-front-bumper-performance-exhaust-112098/

Dude, you bought a smokin' hot ride... why f it up with with a cut rate product?

i dont know if blue warranty has a power to change the entire bumper or fix when the bumper got cracked, but guess the money you paying for get the ED kit fit perfect and painted is prob same as (MS$ - ED$)

so I would like to go for MS
