Mazdaspeed Spoiler options?

I have 2 questions with regard to the MS spoiler. I read somewhere that its "adjustable" ... does anyone have pics of that? Does it mean the angle or the height?

Second, i know it has the part on the trunk and then the raised spoiler. do you have to put both on? can you just put the euro-ish lip on (seems like that would look good by itself) OR the raised spoiler or do you have to put both on??

it angles to three different settings:
1) Pretty much flat
2)angled downward (front of wing angles forward)
3)Angled more then #2

To be honest, it would be a pretty big waste of money to buy the MS wing and only attach the lower portion. PLUS, you'd have 2 holes in the lower portion that you'd need to explain. (Where the brackets come up to meet the wing)

Here's a picture I took a while back that compares the standard spoiler & the MS. (mine is on the 2nd setting mentioned above)

If you only want the lip spoiler, you can do that... http://www.evo-r.net/product/RX-8/CFS/REAR_LIP.htm

The cheapest place for a replica is the fiberglass one of www.carsoption.com. I don't have it but some members here do and like it for quality, fitment, and price. Paint should cost about 100... I think...

I just checked the website where I got my MS wing at and it's around $1,100. (painted of course)
Have the prices gone up on them???

I just checked my invoice and I only paid $850.20 back in July. hmm, weird.

Right on, that's where I got my wing. I only paid $50 to have it painted at the dealership tho.

How is the wing? Does it look like the real MS WING? does it make any different like the adjust wing and stuff?

Basically the difference is that the replicas have fiber-glass brackets. They're totally adjustable. The quality is actually pretty good too. I went the cheap route because I couldn't justify paying over 800 bucks for a wing. So I went down the other road and I dont have any complaints. It looks exactly like the real thing.
