I have to admit it, I love it more and more. I have the exact 8 that you do, and I like it a lot.

When I first got the RX8, I said no spoiler... Then as I saw more pictures of the Mazdaspeed spoiler it started to grow on me until I decided it looked very cool, must have... No regrets, everyone who has seen it goes out of their way to comment on how great it looks...

I am wondering has mazda posted any specs of such tests. And do they recommend that the wing be set in any particular setting for given driving conditions. Can the wing be rendered useless or even detrimental if set wrong?

nice!~

that is a beautiful looking car!~..good job...Just don't do an overkill like most people on every forum "riceing" it out. It's funny because even though "riced" is associated with asians...they're are plenty on non asians that "jack" up the appearance of the car

I seriously need meet someone with an rx8 in the northwest suburbs of chicago area....haven't had a chance yet.

where u from shimz? I live in chicago. The idea of rice are mostly related to the civics which give us asians real bad image. I know many people who do it right without riceing which is just wrong. Also it does apply to others which i see do it a lot now after fast and furious. So asians arent the only ones, but we did kinda start it.

Well as far as rice goes I agree, actually this is it with the car as far as exterior and interior additions go, well except for the HRE rims I have on order... Everything I did were things I believe should have just come on the car to finish it off...

In regards to the spoiler, the instructions say how and when to set the spoiler, it has four settings... Neutral, which they recommend for stock cars, setting 2 (for cars with factory aero or Mazdaspeed kit, setting 3 (more down force for track...) and setting 4 (maximum down force for track...) The setting I have it on is 2 moderate down force for added stability at high speed and economy, since adding it is does feel more hunkered down past 75...

finally found mazdamotorsports webpage that is mazdaspeed -- I was going to mazdaspeed.com before which takes you to japanparts.com and looking at the spoiler there which is different from yours. Looks like you can only order this spoiler if you are a registered racer with mazdamotorsports, which of course I am not -- not intend to ever be. I just want this spoiler but don't plan any other mods at all. Can you tell me what the part no. is and if I can order it from my local mazda dealer?

thanks for the info and all the great pics. Ordered my black 8 without a spoiler just so I could locate "just" the right one and I think this is it!

I'm thinking of buying the carbon fiber replica of the MS. Looks nice and CF with black should be hot.

Cortc - Adrain,

We have bone stock 6MT Rx-8s. Cortc I like the looks of your spoiler. We are ... pretty conservative and so I have been looking at the Euro rear lip spoiler, but I think the bottom part of your system would also look good.

Adrian, we live in FL so we are looking at Tint for both cars. Since we do not have NAV systems, I do not know of any real restrictions on the product used. Any recommendattions would be appreciated.

You both have great looking cars.

Hey, I'm looking for this spoiler but I can't find one anywhere. I found a cheap knock off but it didn't fit at all. Where can I find a MS spoiler??

Mazdatrix has them in a few colors, tho not all, and unpainted as well. They also pop up on eBay from time to time.
