Can you post pics of yours?
I think mine is fine. I did the installation myself 2 months ago. I am not aware of anything usual yet.

On a side note, the paint on the spoiler is really thin. I didn't bother to wax the spoiler after I put it on. I was washing the car over the weekened and noticed that the paint at the front tip of the upper spoiler is wearing off. What the...

the lower wing should be flush against the trunk at all points. There is no adhesive to fix the lower wing down along the front edge of it.

On mine, to the front of the right lower wing is slightly raised. Since I had mine installed at a dealership, I went back and asked them to fix it. 2 hours later, they come back saying there is no way to fix it, the lower wing isn't straight and there is nothing they can do besides order another one.

So long story short, I'm waiting for a new lower wing to be installed.

I figure, over a grand installed, it better look it.

I also noticed a slight gap. And also one of the corners looked like the paint was wearing off, I figured it was possible a kicked up rock hit it or something. Its very small though I might just use touch-up paint.

I have the Mazdaspeed kit fitted, but don't seem to have the gap? But I was to scared to do it myself so got the dealership to fit.

That is exactly the spot I was talking about. I hope the replacement doesn't also have that problem

Is that spoiler really 900 dollars. Is there no where to get it cheaper than that?

I bought mine thru the dealer, it was MSRP $1040, plus another hundred or so for install. It was the only dealer installed option that I paid for. I didn't want to drill holes myself, and wanted the wing as part of the financing.

They shipped the spoiler for free? Seriously? I didn't know that, that's a pretty large item for free shipping.

I had trouble with my wing as well. It started with lifting in the courner as indicated in the pic above and then actually cracked on the bolt on the opposite side. All fixed now $500 later. the trouble was an improper installation to begin with. We're taking brakets being off by millimeters. I took the wing to a body shop they fixed the crack - looks as good as new, actually better because the wing is now colour matched to the car and it stuck on like glue. It barely moves at high speed, where as before the repair it was shaking a lot just driving 120. Likely the cause of the crack. We had thought it was casused by air getting up under one of the lifted areas.

I think they ship free if you spend over 500

The only thing I dislike about the MS wing is the upper wing shakes on big bumps, and shakes when you shut the trunk, even if you don't slam it. So I end up shutting the trunk while holding the wing.

i would have to agree on that one seems like its gonna tremble off the trunk. have you driven it on high speeds before ?

I've only taken the car to 100. The area I'm in has a lot of cops on the roads, so I've not had any chance to go faster, and I am no longer with a death wish, so I try to be careful

Has anyone replaced a stock spoiler with the MS? I'm wondering if they use the same holes. The pics make it look like the old holes would be covered anyway, but no new holes would be ideal.

I assume they are the same holes, but I can't say for sure since my car didn't come with a spoiler. They had to drill new ones.
