I really like the MS nose in the Japanese version with the big opening and I think the US with the black plastic bar on top doesn't look as good. Can this part be removed? Does the wire grill goes all the way up? I know the bigger front bumper of the US cars will be visible but it can be painted black, I guess it would look much better like that.

i remember this being talked in a previous thread as i was curious about it as well. the black plastic bar can be removed and wired up, but i dont know why you would do that? why not buy the japan version of the ms front nose and get the sides and rear in U.S. so you wouldnt have to deal with rewiring grill and other labor. i think they are about the same price too...?

Because the MS kit has improved aerodynamics and cooling effects

Because the INGS kit probably does too and is approve for track racing in Japan

Because your car doesn't look like the other 14,000 sold that year

 

I don't like that "bumper blocker" either. I'd rather fabricate my own duct of sorts for intake or cooling in front of the visible bumper than use that crappy plastic black thing.

 

the black bar on the us ms bumper can be removed but there is a faom padding behind it that will show up ......also the grille isnt big enough to compensate for removeing the black bar but it wouldnt be hard to get grille material from somewhere else....Ive noticed that you notice the black bar at first but after a while you dont even notice its there...I still have mine installed
