Mazdaspeed sideskirts primer only

I just got off the phone with Jason at Online Mazda Parts, and he told me the painted Mazdaspeed sideskirts are no longer available. The primed ones are available but I wonder for how much longer? I didn't think to ask if the bumpers are only available in the primed versions as well. Just wanted to pass this info along.

I believe I read a post that this is for the bumpers too.

I figured it would be, it wouldn't make sense for them to discontinue painting one item and not the others. Kind of sucks as I was hoping to be able to just put them on.

Funny thing is I just finished talking to my local dealers, and Canada doesnt manufacture or carry them anymore. so they order from the states at 2300 for just the bumper. Painted tho

How much are they charging you for the skirts unpainted? its gotta be cheaper right?

Yes, it was just over $800 for the painted and it's around $630 unpainted. Don't know yet what it will cost me to get them painted. I have a good local shop that I used for some stuff on my Speed6, I'll go to them once I get the skirts to get an estimate.

I think I paid like $250-300 to have my skirts painted.. then again not all shops charge the same but I'm guessing it'd be in that price range just about anywhere.

I paid 200 to have one of my skirts repainted, that was just one. From what I hear, the ms kits are going to be, if not already, discontinued. glad I have mine
