1> is it a bolt-on kit or does it use 2sided tape
2> i found out that mazda has only 2 color varations for red has anyone had a problem colors matching.

It is bolt on, AND it uses 2 sided tape - just like the Mazda appearance package parts.

As far as I know, there is only ONE red color for the RX-8... although different batches of paint may vary slightly from batch to batch.

 

for 3k the color better match perfect

HA...mikeb is foolin' ya!...he is runnig a replica MS kit...looks just as good without the MS price...run a search...he has a thread in Vendors under Aerowerks...there are a few companies with MS replicas at less than 1/2 the MS price...2 of them are in the vendor area...

Aerowerks kits do not come painted. That part is up to you (unless you have THEM do it, like Mike did, but he's local). Only the real MS kit comes painted. They have the option to order un-painted parts, but it's not much of a price savings.

The AeroWerks Kit is made of Urethane. I believe the original MS is made of Metton.
