CA Mazdaspeed kit and dealerships

I was wondering if its possible to get the entire kit + installation from the dealership and have the cost add onto my finance plan. I'm thinking probably not, but just wanted to make sure.

no offense but if you can't afford to buy the kit, you probably shouldn't try to finance it.

if you can make the monthly payment then I don't see why you can't add it to your purchase.

Most dealerships will add anything onto the purchase price and finance it. They might actualy give you a good deal because they wont to sell the car. Just be sure you know how much the kit is and dont over pay. You can buy the front bumper for about $1225, rear underspoiler for $700, sideskirts for $700 and spoiler for $830. Total of $3450ish plus tax and install. Check with a body shop on how much an install is. From experiance you can do it all yourself in an afternoon with the help of a friend so it should not be more then 4-5 hours of labor or $300-400. I would try to get the dealer to sell the whole kit installed for $3500-$3750 installed.

^^ +1 Highway8 makes a good point. if you can deal the cost and install in at a good price then go for it. At economic times likes this, they may take any deal you throw at them.

Example. I bought a used Silverado. The deal was good to start with, then I wanted to add a metal sliding tonneau cover. The salesmen offered to get it installed at cost from his local GUY. We check the retail price which was $1300. He said there prices are always lower so he thought $1200 installed. The price came back $1500 installed (which was a very good price) but I still paid $1200. Plus I found a ding on the truck and staired at it for a while and he said, "how much off do you want?". i said $300. "DONE". I should have asked for $500 off. So I indeaded up with an extra $600 off the already well below KBB price.

These days they will do almost anything to make the sale. The salesmen would probably set you up with his hot sister if he had one.

A dealer-install on it also puts it clearly and cleanly into their warranty. And yeah, you can have dealers keep throwing stuff at the car "pre-purchase", increase the purchase price, and you will have your financed value fine. Banks might object when you are buying a $30,000 car for $38,000, but it depends on the bank and the person that ends up click the "approve" or "not approved" button.
