how much do you think it would cost to paint and install a mazdaspeed bodykit

 

Mazdaspeed kit is already painted when you get it.

As long as it's genuine you can get it already painted.

 

if you buy it from a mazdaspeed dealer it will be painted already otherwise you will have to get it painted

first it depends on the shop. i went to 2 shops and was quoted $600-700 from the first shop and $3000-4000 from the second shop for my kit. it then also depends on the quality and fitment of the kit. then the material comes into play because different materials absorb the paint differently which may result in more painting.

I think all the colors are available from >2005. I have yet to see someone sell a pre-painted galaxy gray. Even though the mazda site has a part number for it no one has access to it. They always say you have to order the primer one and get it painted.

 

do it yourself. it's really easy. side will be the toughest, and any bodyshop should be able to do sides for $100-200.

 

This is correct! I've been trying to get a Phantom Blue MS kit for over a year & talked to both Mazda & MS parts reps. The color is not available even though its listed on the site. I still can't find anyone who will paint it for a reasonable price.

P.S. Some people get the MS kit unpainted because it is much cheaper, in hopes they can get it painted for a cheaper overall price. 2 cents

 

it will cost as much if not more to get it painted than if you had just bought the official Mazdaspeed kit to begin with.
