Lowering kits?
I would like to know what kits are available to lower the 8, and or recomended. Would a full inch be too much or just right? Personally I like the Mazda Speed body kit because it is not over the top and also gives the car a little bit more aggressive look. Lowering the car and putting this kit on, in my opinion, would look awesome. Thanx.

with the combination mazdaspeed bodykit and mazdaspeed coilovers you are left with only 100mm or about 4" of ground clearance which will be low enough for me-- I feel that withthe mazdaspeed kit you get plenty of that tucked look wi/ the 18" rim while stil being able to traverse speed bumps head on
for perspective i currently have 3000gt w/ the eibach pro springs 1 3/4" drop.
the coilovers have 20mm drop from stock.

Gee, I didn't know that this was so formal that you couldn't post a poll that basically had nothing to do with the content. BFD. I wanted to know 2 things, thought I might kill 2 birds with one stone here but I guess I was wrong. I still haven't heard of any lowering kits I might use, people are too concerned if the poll matches the post. Geeeez.

I'm not sure if there are lowering springs for it yet but HKS has made a coilover set for the 8. There is a thread about it in the Suspension forum.
I'm sure in due time there will be tons of aftermarket parts for the 8, maybe not as much in North America but for sure in Japan.

I did add silver for you to the poll, however.

It is kind of like having a girlfriend who asks: "Who's prettier me or JLO?" Answering with JLO doesn't mean you're saying your girlfriend is ugly, but she'll probably take it that way.
BTW, I like all the colors but green was my answer.
