The worst thing is the mechanic was denying he did it. I just glad I notice before I left town" i live 5 hours away from my dealer....Anyways the manager said to get a new kit a he will pay for it. What a nightmare. I got him to put it in wrighting. I just faxed him the quote for a new front bumper with installation and paint. The worst part is that I was parking my car for the winter so she will sit like that until spring.She is very sad at the moment.

 

ouch...sorry to hear about that..i know how you feel. The dealership wiped out both of my right side doors and read fender. I ended up getting new body panels and a real nice paint job. To tell you the truth they look a little better than the one good side

 

im actually going 2 replace it with poly urethane. Better fitment.

 

that sucks........just be happy you noticed it befor driving off.......although something like that would be hard not to.

 

It's my time that means more to me. It took us a week to fit this another 5 day for the paint and then another day for the final install...now I got to wait for another one to come in and same wait. I was planning on parking my car for the winter Oct 30.

 

I should of known! now almost a month after I call Sundance Mazda to ask where my check is for my bumper. He tells me that they don't want to replace it now that i should go back down there and they will fix it. I told him I was just about to store my car and I could not take time off for this huge inconvenience cause by them. 1000klm drive both ways, Hotel and gas and 2 days off work....I asked if they would sub my pay....needless to say I am steamed at the moment!...I am supposed to get a called from the main man tomorrow. I am also going to give him this thread link.

My town does not have a mazda dealer and the closest one is 500klm away. Anyways I just got a check from Mazda for 913$ to fix it not replace it. It ok I guess but still pissed after they said they would replace the bumper. They had damaged the pastic under carriage as well. I still have not seen that. They were suppose to send it to me.
