A little black plastic thing came off my car. You know where you window controls are and unlock/lock buttons are. You know how theres a red LED that shines down on them. Well the black little piece that covers the whole for the led came off. Do you guys know what kind of glue i can use to put it back on ???? Help

Do i even need glue ? I tried putting back in and it kinda felt loose so i took it out. You guys know what part im talking about right ? The black piece that covers the red LED.

 

hmmm i would see if you can figure out how it attaches and if it looks like something broke put a tiny dab of super glue

This thread doesn't seem too dead, so ill give my $.02. Mine broke off a couple weeks ago and i just got around to fixing it day before yesterday. I used a Sh%tload of adhesive silicon where the nib broke. Just wiped the excess off. Seems to be working well.

 

**** i didnt update this thread sorry. Well i went to mazda ordered the part (took around 2 days to arrive since no one really orders this specific part). So as im walking out of the dealer into my car, i put it in (without glue) and it fit snug in there. They have 2 clips that hold the piece in place.

PS i ordered the part because while trying to fit my Previous one on, i broke the little clips i just mentioned.

All sorts of little plastic bits have broken off in the interior. Half the time I dont even know where they belong, just find them when they jam my vac while detailing.

Terrible right? lol
