i tried getting a shipping quote on a Kenstyle rear bumper from Japan and what i got was a 2,000.00 quoate. does this seem like its the right price ?

What?! It doesn't make sense. If they are charging you that much to be shipped, then i think, it will be shipped overnight express or next day delivery.

It depends sometimes on the weight of the items being shipped.

^for one it is coming from JAPAN. Also a bumper is concidered freight and comes on a plane. so it is not cheap

Not always by plane. Sometimes they make it cheaper by delivering by boat, but it makes the ETA extend much longer.

Depending on where you are looking, I'm going to say they are overcharging you on the part itself. 1200 for the part and 800 for shipping almost makes sense.

Though for the price, it should be delivered by air straight to door with customs cleared.

ok thanks fellas ! SHAKEYOURBRAKES how were your fitments, cause i was thinkinh bout the same setup you got. Dont like the KENSTYLE front at all. But the rear KENSTYLE with the AUTOBAHN or R-Magic front would be much better.

mine is authentic, so fitment was dead on. Literally the same exact fitment that a stock would have... You can see the fitment better in the bigger pic below

I just wanna say thanks to shakeyourbrakes for giving me the inspiration to get quad exhaust and kenstyle bumper after seeing photos of your white RX-8 with Kenstyle bumper with authentic ferrari 430 dual/quad tips.
