ok so heres the deal i just got my Rx-8 maybe 2 weeks ago so im new to this club and to the car itself so sorry if i sound like a noob but im looking for the complete mazdaspeed oem body kit for my car since ive heard the replicas arent that good but im not too sure where to get it so if you could direct me to the right place id appreciate it thanks i also uploaded some pics of my stock car

 

When u find out u let me know as well...ill even take a chance on a replica urethane kit...all i want is the side skirts

mazda does not produce the kit anymore from what i heard but i know that up in canada the dealers apparently still have some stock, but its far more expensive for the kit up here..

nope no replica.. i used to work at mazda we built the car for the showroom, brand new with the kit exhaust breaks intake ms wheels ect.. the car was sellling for 65000.. so no one bought it for 4 years until i finally did for 20 000 lol.. its an 06 dealership lost 18 000 on the car

 

I have authentic mazdaspeed sideskirts and the rear bumper as well (color:VR from factory). I have to see if I can find the original hardware. I'm about to post a listing in the sale/wanted section to see if there is any interest.

 

Id be interested in the side skirts...depending on if you have all the hardware and are willing to ship.

 

I have absolutely no experience shipping parts that size but I may be looking into it soon. I'm going to get them out of the garage, take a few pics, and look for the instructions and mounting hardware. Stay tuned. Again note that these were painted from the factory (not just primed) so most likely you'd have to factor in the cost of painting.

 

i got the ureethane kit and it did not fit at all and it was a waste of money

Heres my rx8, this is how it came from the factory and it has everything a mazdaspeed version should have. Checkit out. Car is from b.c canada and it might be the only one here that is fully mazdaspeed, maybe the real deal. Check it and and see what u think

I don't think mazda ever produced a mazdaspeed rx8 "from the factory". If anything the dealer purchased all the pieces and put them on so they could mark up the initial price of the car.

btw, you're also missing mazdaspeed side mirrors.

 

Theres mazdaspees mirrors? Haha I never knew that. What are the difference in them?
