How do you guys recommend i tint my tail lights?

So i really want to tint my tail lights and so far the only ways i can find to do it are the tint overlays likethe ones RotaryFX offers (these are what im going to go with if i cant find anything better). Or the option of getting tint spray and paint them. I dont really want to paint it because it will be hard to keep the coats EXACTLY the same on both lights.

Are these the only 2 ways to tint my tail lights?

i've seen ppl use spray tint, from what i can tell the rears are very hard to do with the film unless you go to a professional place or have alot of time on your hands

A window tinted can tint the tails. Don't use spray and don't do overlays. Overlays are a waste of money cuz u will end up screwing them up (I speak from experience. They're a pain in the ****)

Well if you do tint your tail lights, put all LED bulbs in them. They look better and will be brighter underneath the tint.

I had the tint film from Lamin-X... good stuff, but the shape of the tail lights made it peel up in several spots.. so yeah tint film kinda sucks. Spray is ok if you know how to do it..
