i recently upgraded my headlights to 8000k HID's & swapped out the fog bulbs w/ a set of H11 PIAA's. the colors do not match but the output is much better. i may just be getting another HID kit for the fogs...

Figured I'd bump this since it had been exactly one year since anyone posted in it.

Hey Rasp, just wondering since you had the HID Fogs on for longer than a year, how did they hold up? Im thinkinking about doing mine as well, but im not sure where to mount the ballasts.

damn, missed the 1 year mark by 1 day. Oh well, close enough...

Rasp: any update? Been through any bulbs over the last 2 years?
If you had it to do all over again, would you do anything differently?

oh nice... i dont check this area often, if you couldn't tell. lol

it's been over two years and i've had no problems with the fogs. I changed the ballasts with the oem rx8 ballast. Anything other then oem is crap. ebay ballast = ****.

Anyone else done this mod yet? I'm looking into it but I've already purchase H11s that I'll be installing soon to see if they suffice. I'd really like the cutoff myself but if there's not too much glare, I'll stick with the OEM. This looks pretty complicated...
