hey guys i want to add a spoiler best one for my Mazda rx8 2009 silver for 200, and a exhaust for about 250 best one...right now i have no spoiler and stock exhauss...thanks for your help

 

I don't think you'll find an exhaust for $250. You can't shop used because the tips on the 09 sit lower than 04-08 so you need an exhaust specifically for your year. The cheapest exhausts for the 04-08s run around $500. I don't know how many are available for the 09 yet, but Racing Beat has 2. Once with single tips that looks like their 04-08 exhaust and one with dual tips that's pretty cool looking. They are over $600 though.

Best spoiler? What kind do you like? Lip spoiler? Big GT wing? The trunk lid is the same for all RX-8's so any spoiler will work.

 

Your question is incorrect. there is no "best".. it's all opinion. Find a spoiler and exhaust you like and get it. Just to affirm what Aipex has said, you'll find very little at the 250 mark and what you will find is either very old, damaged, or ebay crap.

You will have a hard time finding a used exhaust for $250. You could buy a CF lip spoiler from Evo-R for $289 before shipping.

For the prices you want to spend I suggest checking the for sale section and be very patient.

fwiw I have a new mint blue replica lip spoiler I could sell you for $150 + shipping. Let me know.

You like lip spoilers? If so buy mine BTW did you check the for sale section? There is a HKS single side exhaust selling for $300.

04-08 exhaust can be fitted to 09 with hanger bending/mod. I would say any exhaust shop can do that.

 

I hate to be the search police, but come on... Look through the vendor section, look through the for sale section, look through other peoples spoilers and exhausts in the multimedia section. When you have some questions about a specific product, by all means ask, but just asking us to find all the cheapest and best stuff and post links for you is a little lazy.

alot of you are forgetting this is a 2009 model - pretty sure the evo lip as well as the spoilers recommended here will not fit.

 

I think the trunk is the same...

Exhaust shops should be able to make any exhaust fit..

that being said you are asking way too low of a price....you have an 09 and i would bet there are none used yet......so no part outs....you need to buy new and this isnt a civic.....you gotta pay to play

So that even means if the 04-08 crowd likes the factory spoiler off the new R3s it will work too,,, that in my opinion is the only exterior improvement from the 09s

 

i will concur.. i delivered a newish 09 trunk lid to marsred100 for his vr 04 rx8.. from mazmart.

so the spoliers from everyone should be the same.

Lol im thinking Swoope will anwser this question since he's been anwsering my quesitons lately but i dont suppose theres a trick to putting on the Evo-R CF lip??? i mean do you just apply the 3m double sided tape and BAM??? also as a side question, does this lip provide any downforce or is it strictly for look?

 

yes the trick is wax paper. 3m tape does not stick to it. i put it under the top side after removing all the tape. then centered and pushed forward.. pulled the wax paper out then pushed down...

worked well.

down force, who knows. it is loosely based off the euro lip which is required by law and does produce down force..

but that is just stupid stuff from 4 years ago.. wow..
