You don't need a wing "installer". Any wing worth its salt will come with a template, all you need is a drill, and away we go. I installed my stock wing in about 20-30 minutes.

I didnt say I needed an installer, I said "I bought the wing and never installed it".........plus its not worth its salt because it didnt come with a template, I bought this 2 years ago.........in addition I dont think I want it on my current car since I park on the street in NY....... I thought i was going to have access to a garage when I first got it but things changed and I decided not to install it, especially since that time my first wing got stolen.

Any huge wing like that should really do some bracing on the underside so you don't end of up with a dented bumper... call me crazy...

My bad I meant Trunk Lid not bumper. The force of acceration and downforce could certainly do some damage to our aluminum trunk lid when you have a large lever (read wing in this case) pressing against it. It would exert a considerable amount of force at the mounting location.

ahh ok I got you.......it has 2 positions for the amount of downforce.......but like I said if it doesnt look right then it just wont go on........I was just showing the low version of these wings which caught my eye because I dont like the high ones to much and you hardly see cars with the wing I posted (low drag style) at least I havent seen them very often........btw what is the wing width that is recomended on the rx-8??

This wing from TC Sportline is made for the RX-8, althought it will also fit many other vehicles.
