Help me make a decision for FRONT Bumper look

I can't make up my mind in which lip spoiler to buy....Please tell me your opinions.

I already have some mods in the front bumper and i don't want to order a new full replacement one.

My car is Velocity Red and my mods in the front are:Custom Billet Grill with Rx8 Badge and front rotary accent. I also have a carbon fiber ms style wing and clear corners.

I am thinking of the EVO-R lip spoiler,The Veilside lip Spoiler and the Varis front carbon fiber lip spoiler(If the third i will also install the carbon canards up the front fog lights like in the pic)I am kinda stuck with the canards and i might buy them anyway...

Also the varis hood is the hood i will purchase some time arround 2005 The cheapest from all is the Veilside and then EvoR i believe and then the most $goes to the carbon look offcourse

Please tell me your opinions or share your setups...

i'd go for EVO R, it has clean lines, and suits the lines of 8

Geez, look at that first pic, the Evo one, it looks like a cartoon character. It would be sad to make an 8 look like that, just grotesque!

I gotta be honest, the evo-r hood has the best 'rotary bump' implementation I've seen yet.. altho I'm guessing the "valley" isn't exacly the most aerodynamic thing going

I like the VS lip spoiler. It's very simple, unlike everything else they do. Also check out KS-Auto's.

BTW, are those vents in the Varis hood functional? Those types are too much for me.

IMO the VS lip matches the cars lines good, and I think the canards will look good with it as well. I will get the VS lip myself this year along with the GT-1 sideskirts so the question is: Are you getting sideskirts as well, or do you already have some? For me, it´s important that the front matches the side of the car so you might want to think of that. And the Varis hood looks awesome!

Well, now you got me qurious about the canards, where can I find those?

All the Varis stuff can be ound in the bulletproofautomotive site...
I am going for the hood for sure somewhere near summer..
I also wants the front to be in the same heigh as the side so if i am going for veilside or evo-r i must buy some sides also...

After i seen renzoil's 8 with the veilside lip and the nice sides i was between varis-veilside,BUT EVERYONE here like the evo-r...

I also don't like to see when one boy-part end and when the next start...I want the boykit to look like one..I know this is offered only by Rmagic's wide but that's definetly not my choise...

Veilside anmd Evo R looks like you have stick them in the front bumper..The varis though looks so unique..Anw with the carbon ms wing and the frp-painted velocity red hood by varis would match for sure...

Frankly I'm not to crazy about any of them... they all look a bit too "tacked on" to me. But different strokes and all. If I had to pick one of them, it'd be a toss up between the EVO2 and the Veilside. It looks like the EVO sticks out a bit less like protruding chin but I can't tell from that view. And the Veilside integrates the front rotary accent - a nice touch.

One thing to note though... I have the factory appearance package front lip on my car and Tein HTech springs (about a 1.25" drop in front), and I occationally scrape on steep driveways and parking curbs. Point being, any one of these lips you've selected is going to seriously compromise your ground clearance.

Hope this helps!

I voted EVO, but now I think the Veilside looks the best. Any price comparisons?

Omi> The groundclearance in ONLY due to the Tein springs.... The veilside lip doesnt make the front lower. Last time I checked it was in line with the bumper behind it...

Thanks Omicron..I don't believe though that i have any clearence probs cause i haven't lowered my 8 and i won't make it soon...

The Veilside lip photos are from a members car(RX-8_PENNZOIL)..(Nice Ride Man...One of my top)

I think that canards+lip both from varis and both carbon will match perfect my carbon ms style wing...What do u think??

As fot the price(i don't care for that part,i am just asking for opinions)the varis stuff are off course the mosre $ cuase of the quality of the stuff and off course carbon fiber... The Veilside and the Evo-R i belive will be in the same price range and cheaper than varis..Also Varis stuff are made under order...

P.S.I love the hood...But i want 1600$ to have it hear,painted and installed...Until summer i ll wait...

What about the Burnout CF lip? I'm trying to get a feel for how this would look on a Titanium.
