Hey all, Currently I'm torn on what i want to do for a rear bumper and spoiler. I was hoping that you could give me a hand in my decision process. My vehicle is BB with MS Front and Sides. Thanks for your help in my decision making process.

Rears:

Re-Amemiya - I really like this rear but it is fiberglass and the attachment process would be similar to the Mazdaspeed rear and I fear that after absorbing several bumps it would begin to crack, but I also have heard that the Japanese fiberglass is of much different material than that used in the united states.

INGS +1 - I like this just because it has a lil more class over the stock accents but I'll let you choose.



Mazda/Burnout - These are about the same style'd and are the least expensive option.


Spoilers

Ings +1 - I really like this spoiler but feel its just a bit large.

Re-Amemiya - I think this looks similar to the Ings+1 spoiler but just shaved off the rest of the spoiler


Racing Beat - Torn between like/hate


Varis - I really think that this one could grow on me


R-Magic/ Vertex - Similar in style and they are pretty sleek looking prolly my 3rd option currently

I really love the INGS spoiler. I thought it looked kind of awkward at first, but it has really grown on me. I'd go with that. Your other spoiler/lip choices seem way too plain and simple; the INGs has a simple design as well and will definitely stand out more, but not too much to where it's obnoxious.

I don't like any of your rear bumper choices, sorry. Mazdaspeed seems like the only one I'd prefer over stock.

 

RE rear and RE spoiler.

IMO, i prefer the uniform taste of one kit all the way around. In this case however you might be stuck as the ing's rear doesn't marry up to the MS sides because if they're authentic, the MS sides have a grey lip on the bottom. the INGs does not match it. The RE is similar to the MS rear but w/a flare and a functional diffuser (which i absolutely love) You should be able to paint it to match.

The RE spoiler is a nice touch as i haven't seen it around much.

 

IMO the RE lip spoiler looks nothing like the INGS spoiler. Is there a reason why you do not want to go with the MS rear? The RE rear is similar so not sure why you would like it buy not the MS.

For everyone with a MS Front and sides, 90% have MS rear. I'd like to be the 10% who dare to be different.

And to Atilla, I planned on painting the Re-Amemiya in similar fashion to the MS rear, it just screams back the f*ck off to me over the MS rear. =]

Also Pdx, Mazda has discontinued importing mazdaspeed rx-8 parts so it's just clearing out stock now for those who still have them. I'm not sure I'm gunna pull the trigger on this yet but by the time I decide. There may be very few MS Rears left to and import that from Japan would be just around $1150, and I'm looking at $1300 for the Re-Amemiya rear. So might as well be different.

Plus, when was the last time you saw someone with that rear?


And to Grog. I know my spoiler options are plain jane. But I'm just not into larger spoilers like the Mazdaspeed or similar carbon wings. I like my trunk lid to be flush and clean. No need for extra radio reception.

 

You should go with the Re-Amemiya lip spoiler and Re-Amemiya Rear diffuser. It would look amazing

Varis lip

 

Im going with Re-Amemiya rear, I was pretty set on it but the whole its fiberglass had me worried because I live with some pretty crap roads. So i just reconsidered it.

I like the Varis lip, but again I think I'm going to go with Re because it looks that it would flow really well and at least get people to notice it while the Varis and Vertex lips are very sutle.
