Exclamation Help!! Lacquer Removal!

Hi all,

The previos owner of my 8 did a crappy job of lacquering the engine cover. It's all going foggy and smokey and looks crap.

Any ideas on how to remove the lacquer without damaging the plastic?

as dom said, lacquer stripper....but make sure you buy one that will work on plastic. If you get one that is for body panels, it will destroy the plastic
