Help: Instruction to Open Headlight
Help: Instruction to Open Headlight
I would like to know if anyone has some experience of opening a HID headlight and could help me with some instructions. One of the light cover got loose so i must open up to put it back. I have read on some threads said that i should microwave it for like 10-15 mins, some other suggest to use hair dryer (which i tried but does not seem to work). I really appriciate if any one has done it before could help me out. Thanks

Do not Microwave...
Here is a video of BlackMobil's DIY, https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...0&postcount=37 he recieved guidence from Shakeyourbrakes as did I when I did it, The video has the steps needed to bake open and shut the headlight. Even though its an 09 headlight in the vid the process is the same...
