I was wondering the same thing. I have a Sport so do not have the OEM fogs. I'm looking for a aftermart set myself or I need to pull a set off another Eight.

You could install any fog lights you want. Anyway, if i were you, i will have it installed by a certified installer. If you don't know what your doing, you might blow a fuse and short circuit something.

The previous owner of my 8 burned out the fog light lens. The lights turn on but there is a visible and ugly burn mark. Do I have to replace the whole unit or can I just replace the lens?

^ might not even have to replace it, im unsure but if its anything like headlights and taillights you can open them up and then clean it, unless you mean it actually melted the plastic lens.

Don't want to thread-jack but maybe my question can also help the OP. Are HID foglights a bad idea? Would they blind oncoming traffic?

^i believe they do, all you have to do is point them down enough though. Just get a buddy to sit in his car and look out the mirror infront of you and test and keep testing.

taking the reflectors out blind traffic IFIRC
