HELP! Bulb fell under front light housing

I was swapping the stealth bulb 7440 turn signals with a set of LED ones...as I pull the turn signal bulb holder out the bulb fell out and got stuck on the opening to were the bulb goes in...I carefully attempted to pull it out and did so successfully but the bulb slipped and fell down...under the light housing (the one that is encased in metal it did not fall down to the bottom of the bumper)

I tried to reach in there and grab it but I can't even feel it...please tell me how I can get under the light housing...preferably without removing the whole housing (but if I need to I will)...also what will happen if I leave the bulb there? I know noise could be a consideration...help?

thanks!

Hmmmm. Well, can you see it at all? If so, use a wad of gum and a straw and spear the little trouble maker.

If you cannot see it, just let it be. So long as it doesn't rattle, it won't be any trouble. It may even find it's way out some other unknown area.

Try looking in through the fenderwell. Maybe even take the front end off and see about looking there. (that is much easier than most realize. Go to our vendor's forum and I wrote a DIY on how to do it there)

Just a few off the top of my head... :D

Good luck.

By the way, I have an LED 7440 running around in my tail light lens....gotta take that thing off soon and shake it out of there like taking coins out of a piggy bank. :D

I'll try fishing a bit (using a dental mirror )
If I can't get it I wont worry about it though

Oh the LEDs are awesome...way better then I thought they would be (I used bright white 7440 turn signals on the front)

Yeah, nothing wrong with the LEDs, what the problem is is they are LEDs. Ok, what is needed for the turn signals to be able to blink normally is a load resister or something like that. They do not act like an incadescent and draw much less current so the stupid computer thinks that a lamp is out and that is the reason they blink fast...it's a warning from your car's computer. Autolumination sells these resisters that have to be added in line with the wiring to allow them to blink normally. It is easy to install, you just have to put this piece in and clamp it over the wire. Unfortunately, you will need four. I haven't bought any yet so my turn signals are on hyper too. :D

I used the bright white LEDs for reverse lamps. My entire rear is now LED lit, except my license plate, it is Neon lit. I built a custom frame for that and stuck a white neon license plate tube in it, it is awsome at night, the license plate is lit up all the way around and glows.
