Question Headlights pointing straight down? Help

the 8's headlights are pointed straight at the ground maybe 8 feet in front of the car. wtf? i took it to the stealership cause it was just bought about a month ago and they were all also like wtf... any way to adjust these headlights?

is that standard for all 2005 RX-8's? cause i had the light out and didn't see any screws on the back... gdi i wish i woulda taken some pictures...

btw thanks for the quick response. beautiful rx-8 as well!

on my grand prix? hmm. let me see if i can find one that'll show it..


i don't know if you can see it but it's on the right side, it drops down into my fender. very simple mod.

thanks man. that should be for the 04-08 rx8s. it doesnt actually look like a screw, it looks like a circular saw blade with the teeth bent in 90 degrees. so you are actually using the screwdriver and turning that piece. you can see that with the headlights still in the car you just have to look from the top of the headlight towards the engine bay. if i remember correctly there is a hole cut out in the frame for it so you have to just be patient and look for it.

.... sob... i saw the hole, looked inside the hole, and like a *****'s vag saw nothing but empty space.. :-( guess i'll have to try again tomorrow after work. Thanks again! my buddy's gunna come back home from leave, get in his car and gunna be like "wtf did you do to my car? it works...." :-D

I had the same issue with my 04 HID headlight. I take out the cover in the wheel well and get to the screw but turning the screw does not seem to do anything. In the pdf above, it said turn the auto level switch to 0. What does that mean? Do we have a switch for that?
