I figured blue is obviously illegal, so why would i install them as running lights, but I got a killer deal since im the first to get the 8000k ones so im trying to be patient. Ill keep everyone posted when the get here and get in the lights.
I'll be looking forward to seeing the end product... I'm hesitant myself to crack open the headlights. I just don't want to risk getting moisture inside. Can you just use the factory glue when you are sealing it back again or do you use something different?

ive opened them three times with no problem. The factory glue is fine, I put extra silicone to be sure though. Someone on here just installed the 6000k kit on non hid headlights and they came out good..ill have my 8000k rings on my HID, painted housings within a week once I get my car back from the dealer so keep an eye out for some pics and a group buy.

Can someone describe the visual difference between 6000K, 8000K, and 10000K? Is it a difference in tint or brightness, or both?

For the other post above.. 6000k = cool white
8000k = bluish white
10000k = purpleish blue

The higher the temp the less light that will appear, I currently have 8000ks and they look great (blue/white) but there is noticeably less light than the stock hids

ill have mine in this week, and ill get a bunch of pics posted in this thread. Im in the process of emailing back and forth with the company right now to get a group deal. They gave me a great deal, in return im going to give them pics of my lights and car for their website...so im sure theyll work out a great price. I also need to get the group buy approved by mods here. Check for more details by the end of this week, ill def get something going because these rings are quality..i havnt mounted them, but ive lit them up and theyre super bright, and match 8000k quality great.
