Halo/angel eye rings soon to be installed

Whats up guys, just wanted to get a thread out..any day im going to be getting and installing these halo rings inside my painted HID headlight housings, so ill make sure to get some pics up. I set it up to get the first 8000k rings instead of the blue ones advertised..they need a little more modification before theyre going to be ready to sell to the public, but im going to try and get a deal and group buy going. Stay tuned for some pics this week. Heres the blue ones they have listed right now

Those look pretty bad ass man, and would look especially good on a white 8.

05rex8 08-04-2008 10:09 PM

 pretty blue lights....................

NgoRX8 08-04-2008 10:32 PM

interesting, i'd like to see them installed and working during daylight.

imput1234 08-04-2008 10:34 PM

I think those will look good in the night, but not sure during daytime.

NgoRX8 08-04-2008 10:49 PM

true, they'll look good at night, but i want to see what they'll look like in the day time.

i love the look of the halos on bmw's during daylight.

BRGREEN8 08-04-2008 11:49 PM

damn that looks nice.

TopGear8 08-05-2008 12:11 AM

Yeah if the price is good I would definitally be interested in them. Lets see some pics!!

Alucard 08-05-2008 05:22 AM

interested... cant wait to see how they turn out

db_8 08-05-2008 08:42 AM

how would this be installed? i thought baking the headlights was pretty hard and risky...

Krazed_Rx8 08-05-2008 10:02 AM

Those look hawt

lancer 08-05-2008 01:08 PM

let me know when you do a group buy. It look nice. love to have it.

perks11 08-05-2008 01:30 PM

Those will look sick on a WWP 8. im the same way as everyone else i wanna see pics.

rddragoness 08-05-2008 04:21 PM

Definitely an interest in the 8000k ones as well. I don't think the blue would go well with the CR.

sweet!! i love that they did both circular parts and not just the main headlights. def need the white lights for all non-white cars - don't want blue lights on my bb. i think day time would look just as sweet.

^^no, the tails can't be baked, i don't think there has been any major difficulties baking the headlights.

would these have a separate switch wired? or would it take the place of the parking lights??

gukdoebabdoe 08-05-2008 10:05 PM

too expensive for 4 rings that light up and a few wires.

on the site they said its 199$

Here's a pic of the white from their website:

i baked my tail lights just fine. it wasn't to take them apart though, just to get the moisture out.

I have a question. Are these designed to be used without headlights on? I know the lighting it provides isn't sufficient, but all the pictures I can find are with the headlights off. Just wondering if it is for visual purposes or something.

They should be bright enough to work as DRL's (like BMW's), but since DRL's aren't required in the US they are mostly just for looks.

I think he specifically meant that they can't be baked to take apart. I baked mine for dinner and it worked fine too

DrewMan 08-07-2008 09:23 PM

heat gun works just as well

just make sure you dont turn it up too high because you might kill it!

shakeyourbrakes 08-07-2008 09:32 PM

guys, taillights cant be baked open...impossible theyre fused together. Headlight can, I did it to paint them, check out my previous thread with pics.. The update is these should be here next week im guessing, hes telling me theyre finishing up with the installation instructions on the 8000k ones, then they will be here. I figured blue is obviously illegal, so why would i install them as running lights, but I got a killer deal since im the first to get the 8000k ones so im trying to be patient. Ill keep everyone posted when the get here and get in the lights.
