Grills

I am looking to replace my stock grill with an aftermarket one. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to purchase one, I am preferably looking for a grill that does not simply go over the stock one, rather replacing the stock one altogether. I have seen some on Ebay, anyone got these???? Thanks. :D

Is the stock grill easily removed? Or is this something you would have to cut out? I've thought of removing it, but I wasn't sure how messy it would be

You would need a dremel-type tool to cut out the center mesh. It´s not hard, just time consuming.

Incorrect. It just clips into the surround. Easy Day!

Check the DIY areas. My posts, along with many others in there describe options you have for saving some bucks when it comes to installing a different grill.

yes mashdash is right....what the **** are you guys talking about cutting and all this....stop being a ******* rican with our cars. you just take the bumper off and the inner part of the bumper has clips there for the grill thats it! i know mother ******. I took it off and custom painted it at my fathers shop in nj.....If you want a good look without changing the bumper just paint the stock grill...not paint cans you ****... custom paint same paint code as your car at a bodyshop get crackin. P.s im the only one with that done and I always get compliments i also painted the rear ugly plastic piece in the rear and the ugly plastic on the mirrors

Yo Jersey mouth!!! There are many different options you can do with the front grill. You can buy a piece that goes over the original grill, or you can "stop being a ******* rican" and go rice and custom paint it. I chose to remove the interior of the grill and formed a wire mesh in its place. This is what I meant by cutting out the piece. FYI, the bumper was off so I can remove the grill.

I am able to reuse to original grill minus the interior piece. To me, it looks good, and it's functional. It allows more air to go through. To each his own.
