Front Splash Guards Part #

Any one know if there are different part #'s for the front splash guards? I bought a kit off e-bay,it says genuine Mazda RX-8 part # F151 V3 450F - but there is no farkin way it will fit.It sticks out and will not go flush to the side of the body. I followed the instructions removing the stone guard etc. The part #'s I see are F151 V3 450G not 450F. - Its a 2004 GT. Any body experience this?
