Well then, you might find this useful.

As for pricing, uh, dunno. US pricing is here somewhere. Do a search here for pricing. It should at least give you a good idea within ballpark range.

i, too, have always wondered what the app. package with the front splash guard would look like, but i think i like the appearance package without the front splash guards...IMO it looks, then, a bit busy with the front ones on as well...but after seeing these pics with the stock wing, i think i may have to go buy one

Has anyone that has put front/rear splash guards on noticed a difference w/ the car getting dirty? On the main street I have to drive down they like to water the street (new sprinkler system, water goes all over the place on the street, no way to get around it ). When I drive through it, it gets my nicely washed/polished/waxed car all dirty . I'm just wondering if the splash guards would help.

Here in the UK, we get the following options (amongst others)...
*Tyre deflectors £475 (set - front and rear)
*Rear Under Deflector £324
*Mud Flaps £125 (front) , £100 (rear)
My questions are...
(1) Why is the under deflector so much more expensive than the rear mud flaps? I accept that it's' shape is more in keeping with the lines of the car, but even so...
(2) are the tyre deflectors a set? - i.e. pieces in front of, and behind each wheel (8 pieces in total). I had assumed that this was just an 'in front of the wheel' piece but the UK accessory catalogue shows a picture of the tyre deflectors that incorporate a piece behind the front wheel that does not match the mud-flap (page 2, picture 2).

Dammit, I just let the dealer service dept. talk me out of installing front splash guards on my black RX-8 GT w/aero kit.
They actually phoned me from the service dept. to tell me how bad it would look, they would hang too low, etc. I think the front guards look just fine on your red car.
I think I'll get these jokers back on the phone tomorrow and re-order the splash guards. To each his own, but they don't look out of balance to me.
From what I can see you only need to remove a small moon-shaped plastic piece at the front end of the rocker panel to install the front splashes, am I right?

I don't think you can go wrong with any or no options on this car. They all look good!!! But after seeing those front splash guards on his I want them too!! I know some have said that they think it might be too much, but I think it makes it look even better!!!

Splash guards were real easy to put on. No drilling required. First one took about 25 minutes because I carefully read the instructions and did everything very carefully. The second side took less than 10 minutes. In between doing the first and second sides, I brought my wife and three kids out for their opinions. The consensus was OK with or without. I agreed, the guard didn't add much but didn't take away either. Now though, they've grown on me and I think they do add alot to the appearance, plus they're functional.
Regarding the finishers, they were a real pain. I started with MazdaTrix's instructions and couldn't get the tabs to release. So I moved on to Mazda's method. Took off one interior trunk panel and decided I was not going to take this route. Then I tried the third method--trying to drill a hole with out removing anything. Couldn't do it-too much angle to get the bit to bite. Finally in frustration, I revisited MazdaTrix's method. It worked! The key is to pull really really hard, almost as hard as I could. It's not that depressing the tabs allows them to slide out easy. Some did, but for most, depressing the tab seemed to do little, it was the strong pulling force that allows you to disengage the tab from the body.

If you look at the last picture very carefully you'll see something black extending under the car from the splash guard to the rear flair. It's held in place by two screws and about a dozen clips. The clips are released by pushing perpendicular to the strip. The instructions were good as to where to push but not as to what direction. I used an utility knife to cut the first strip-took many passes and about 6-8 minutes. I used a steak knife on the second strip and it took 1-2 minutes.

I've seen some other shots of 8s with the front guards on, and they aren't quite as good looking.
