Well i will most likely by buying a sport rx-8 due to the lack of GT's i can find around here which i really dont mind however i love the optional front lip and i noticed a seller that has them on ebay already painted.
I just want to make sure if i get a 8 with the regular stock lip i can unbolt it and bolt this one in place instead.

yup, it can just go on I believe; Ive been looking into getting a lip myself.

 

The ebay ones are like 175.00 or something like that, i originally had the link but remembered the rule about ebay links. just go to ebay and type in rx8 airdam and it should come up.

 

Yeah if you search ebay you can find them relatively cheap. I just replaced my stock one about a week ago and I'm loving the new lip.

 

If the seller is who I think use the "make an offer" button and get a little low ball....trust me .

The ebay seller is well known around here. Just becareful what color 8 your purchasing. Repainting that lip say in VRed will cost more than purchasing that lip new from the dealer.

 

i bought the velocity red front air dam from said seller for a little over $250, they said they had to "special order" it.

is it only the VR's? Or any color in general because i noticed they sell all the colors and i will most likely be getting a SS one.

 

Actually, with those auctions, you buy the item first, then you specify what color you need. Read the auction and send him a message or just specify it as a note when paying with PayPal.

 

i just installed my oem airdam lastnight with new fog lights, looks a million times better, to bad the bumper has chips and the airdam is perfect lol, i guess it gives it a little character from taking it on the track
