Question Front Grill

I have a question on our front grill.

If you look at the grill its holes up top are blocked where the holes on the bottom are not.

Well can I cut the top ones out to let more air in? Or is that bad cuz like water will come in?

Thanks,
-Gilbert

i wondered the same as well, they look like they can be cut and water shouldnt be getting into the stock intake. I don't really see a downside to cutting it really. Thats just my opinion. On the other hand, the mazdaspeed front end also has the top part of the grill covered as well.

Cosmetic reasons only. There is white styrofoam behind the "blocked" part that would
show through if the rest of the grill was open.

so very true, forgot about that styrofoam part. well just paint the styofoam black and bam, problem solved. But if the styrofoam is there, then airflow will still be restricted so i would just say, don't do anything to it.

yes you can cut them out... then then the air will run into a solid object right behind where you cut them out...

post pics when done.

It is a mother to cut that grille! Truemagellen and I know from installing the Blinder X-treme transponders.

It would be easier to drill a hole in each cell then Dremel it the rest

Wish you luck Dominion!

I believe the styrofoam is to keep the nose from sagging though.

Going to paint your inside bumper black?
