Front bumper repair advice

I have some sad news... I recently rear ended a truck with my brand new 8... I just barely touched him, but it broke the grille and put one little crack in the front bumper right next to the grille. Didn't do anything to his little S-10 luckily. Anyways, I am looking to find a replacement bumper and need some help. I seem to be able to find cheap bumpers ~$300 online, but when I talk to the dealership it is like $1200. I know the dealers are overpriced, but is it that bad? I am really just looking for some advice on a nice replacement bumper from a vendor I can trust. I am not looking for the whole body kit because those seem to run around $2000 for a good one, I just need a bumper that is not cracked... And I also need a grille, but those are only like $50, so I'm not worried.

Thanks in advance for the advice, or just guide me to a similar thread if one already exists...

repairing the stock bumper is a lil iffy, but possible. if you just had a little crack, it might be fixable for not too expensive.

Thanks for the advice, I'll see if someone has a bumper that they switched out for a kit... I'll also see if I can grab some pictures to show the damage, it is not much... I didn't even think of repairing it... I didn't know you could repair plastic. My car is the dark gray color, I forgot what the cool flashy name is, doesn't look like it would be hard to match.
