I just bought an aftermarket front bumper and it didn't even occur to me that it wouldn't come with a grill. so it's being installed this week and i'm going to be grill-less.

1) is it a big deal not to have a grill in the intake area?

2) is it possible to purchase one?

3) do most aftermarket bumpers not come with grills? or am i just lucky

Some do, some don't . Just buy some wire mesh, paint it and get some zip ties to secure it behind the bumper. If you go without one, you'll probably end up with rocks going through an oil cooler or your ac condenser.
