Those are oem fogs for super cheap from AZexpressparts or whatever on ebay. I bought the ones with blue tint. Its extremely simple to install. It comes with everything you need. The instructions are very detailed as well. You change out your light switch on the steering column and remove the bumper and the fogs just plug directly into your car (all rx8s without fogs are already pre-wired so its just plug and play).

I'm by no means smart with car stuff AT ALL and i was able to pull this one off no problem.

Yes if you notice on your 8 where fogs SHOULD go there are plastic things that fill that spot. You have take off your front bumper though. (i know there's a DIY to take off the front bumper on here and thats very simple to do as well) Looking on the inside of your bumper, those plastic things are screwed in. All you have to do is unscrew them and take them off and screw your fogs into the spot.

Its kinda hard to describe on here, but once you actually take off your bumper you should see what i'm talking about. Its very very simple and the instructions are very detailed. Just take your time. I think it took me about an hour and a half to do everything just b/c I'm not very smart at this kind of stuff and I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up.

Very true.. i've done it so many freakin times now its about a 10 minute process to take off the bumper.. although now that i have fogs it takes a little longer cuz i always struggle taking off the damn clips that plug into them!!

Heck yeah.. install that stuff monday and kill two birds with one stone! Gotta take off the side markers to take off the bumper and when you get it back on you can replace them with the clears!

Yep..............Don't have to take the bumper off for the clears, but you will take it off for the fogs and that makes you at least kinda take out the side markers, so might as well do it at once.

Hey ferg.. the thing on the far right of the picture that is protruding towards the camera is what you unscrew and replace with the fog. There is also one on the other side.

Hahaha awesome.. good to get a nice long drive with the car. Btw i suggest modding your fogs so that you can turn them on separately.. and perhaps get an HID kit for them.. otherwise these fogs are useless. I've yet to do either but thats one of my next projects after I get my metra kit installed

i want them to turn on when the headlights turn on just like the side markers to be white with out the crome inside them, and that should do it for the front, i was thinking if i can find light body kits that are painted already so i can just install them my self, nothing bold
