Alight ive done my searching and im just going in circles so i give up. I realize now its damn near impossible to match HIDs to halogens for matching headlights and fog lights. i have 6k headlights and im wondering if i can just get 6k h11 HID bulbs for my fogs without getting a hid conversion kit. will they fit and work. i need a simple yes or no. thanks guys

Nope, you'll need a conversion kit as the stock fogs are halogens. Try DDMtuning.com that's where I ordered the D2S bulbs for headlights and H11 conversion kit. Their pretty good quality HIDs.

 

I second DDM. I actually have them in both my bikes, my 8, the wifes car, and a few customers cars. Oldest set is still running strong after 3 years and with the heat of the desert summers at an average of 120 in the day. oh and great customer service. They shipped me a bad ballast and then they over night'd me a new one.

 

I have LEDs in my fogs. I think I got them through v-leds.com.

They are $60... Decide if it is worth that amount of money. ALSO.. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CLEAR FOG LIGHTS. There are 3 kits for the RX-8, two of which give it a yellow / blue tint respectively.
