First Exterior Mods?

So I just picked up my new Titanium RX-8 the other day. What should my first mods be? I'm thinking of getting the side strakes and possibly the clear corners. I already have the appearance package. I'm not looking for something expensive cuz I still have car payments lol.

**EDIT**

I ordered the clear corners from mazdaparts.com and I got them with the Stealh bulbs. He said he would ship em out on Monday.

keep the appearance package, work on your suspension, springs , coilovers, shocks, etc. I would cancel out on the strakes, IMO I think the car looks so much more cleaner with out them. Clear corners are a must.

Agreed! Go to autolumination.com and get some stealth bulbs for all four corners! Also, work on those rusty brake hubs. All of this, <$100.

Everyone seems to be out of the clear corners. I found a pair on eBay for $45 from Japan but no stealth bulbs. Do they make that big of the difference, the bulbs that is.

Yea, clear corners are in high demand right now. They are good stuff. stealth bulbs will help, or you can just go illegal and go with the stock white bulbs like me.

Replace all the non-HID lights on the front of the car with somthing less yellow. PIAA Leds or PIAA bulbs are good.

Agreed, the yellow fogs throw off the whole look of the lights in the front.

You guys are missing the most important one - oil cooler grills! Those are the very first exterior mods you should do. Not only do they look good, but they're functional. I hit some road debris about a month ago, and my grill saved my passenger side oil cooler, and probably my engine as well.

Agreed, get some racing beat screens or make it a $10 DIY home depot project.
