Good attempt.....the edged really need finishing. Did you use temperature appropriate epoxy? I can see this was an overlay vacuum bagging would be a better option it would come out alot better.

Yes the edges are a little bit messy but i will fix it!
I used top coat epoxy retin only and then just sit and wait. When finished i trimed it a little but the surface was too messy and i was woried with the retin thiknes
So i leave it just as it is,i am just worried about the engine bay temperatureIf i see any melted epoxy retin i will know my mistake Although i think its a good attempt cause its the first time that i make some carbon fiber parts and all the retin was pain in the as*!!

^ Be careful! you should check the flashpoint on the epoxy....I have never done engine bay parts but many others and know that some epoxies will do terrible in heat.

Still looks a bit unfinished and one could easily tell that carbon fiber sheets were slapped on. Has potential, but needs more work IMO.

That's true..The corners were pain in the ***,i excess any trim off but there were so many problems with the epoxy retin...With the engine heat the epoxy lost his gloss clear effect and become blur!So i just remove it and trim them..
I am thinking of painting them silver cause i have to paint a pair of ganadors mirrors.
Tip:If anyone wants real carbon fiber look just buy the ready ones..lol

I got my covers from Cf-type, they are no longer around, but the link above still provides the same covers
