painted

any shots of the painted ones? I have a black car, I'd like to see the black (matte?) painted ones with the silver mesh. Any choices in mesh right now (circular holes look cool to me)?

looks very nice, I'd like to get a painted set!

Here's the black. I'm taking them the body shop and putting the best paint I can get on them. Mine faded and don't want to deal with that again.

faded already? how, did you paint it yourself?

I'm really interested to see how the abs looks painted flat black, not the mesh. Jay, are you using paint that will not fade over time?

Sorry. The original factory ones on my 05 are turning white. Couldn't make it today, but tomorrow I'm taking the new ones to a body shop and getting it done right. I'll put pics up when it's a done deal.

The bodyshop charged me $70 to paint the entire pieces. He assured me it was the highest quality and would last a long time. I'll post em' in a few days installed.

These won't be fading for a while! The paint job from the shop is outstanding.
Hope to install next week.

I installed these and I must say, the zip ties are guetto all the way. The vents look great and aren't going anywhere, but I'm going to have to break out the drill.

The original ones on the car, I swear you could crack skulls with it. I had no idea they were that well made. The holes also appear designed to direct water away from the interior wall.

Brought them to a body shop. Forgot to ask what they used. Here in Louisiana anything with black plastic will fade in no time. I can't wait to start laughing at all the people here who drive Nissan trucks with black plastic fenders and bumpers.
It's going to look like crap in a few years.

Fd did a good job with these. If they snapped in I would worship him as Fender God.
