Fiberglass Fender Vents??

Hey everyone,

I am looking for fiberglass fender vents similar to the CF ones that are available. I LOVE the look of the CF ones but don't want the CF on my BB so obviously I don't want to pay for CF just to paint them black.

Anyone have any clue if they are available and where I can find them??

Thanks a million to all who help.

I like them better than the stock vents. I wonder how it would look with lighting behind the grill openings.

Swoope suggested something to me and since I am a relative NOOB I will gladly do the legwork.

I will let you all know what I come up with for a solution if any!

Thanks again Swoope!

For those who just want them Gemini sells them in CF or colored CF.

http://www.geminicomposites.com/prod...zda_vents.html

I don't know who else sells them and I can't find them in anything other that CF. Maybe someone else will have better luck searching.

i think they are different from what BigOLundh has posted. the spokes are sunken in and the grill shows way more.

dtorre,

You can get the CF ones from a few diferent sources. If you are looking for fiber glass ones, be patient. I am trying to locate a doner set of CF ones so I can give them to Evo-R to duplicate.

Here's a thought...

I suggested to EVO-R that their company purchase a set of CF ones. Call it R&D cost. However I don't think they are willing to do this.

What I propose it that everyone on this thread interested in the Fiberglass vents chip in $10 - $15 towards a set of CF vents so we can get them to EVO-R and develop the fiberglass pieces.

Any takers??

how much are they anyways? If not too much, I'll just buy one and make it.

Jay,

I think they are $150 - $200 for the CF ones. I will get you the info.
